Working from home is appealing to many people who have simply had enough of the 9-5 routine and all the rush hour traffic. Admittedly, I usually end up working harder in our own business than ever I did for a boss, but not to have to contend with that traffic at the end of the day, is something I will always be grateful for.

As for ideas for starting your own business, well perhaps the most popular choice is something that you are good at to begin with. Perhaps a skill or a hobby that you can turn into a profitable business. If this does not work out or appeal to you, there are many other types of business that you can do working from home.

You know that most American workers, (80% according to the Wall Street Journal) would love to work at home, don’t you?

Imagine how wonderful it would be to:

• Be home with the kids instead of sending them away to day care
• Have the freedom and control of being your own boss
• Be able to control your income

I am sure you have the same dreams.
