Manor Texas real estate now has more to offer. Manor, TX is situated East of Austin, TX, about 12 miles down HWY 290. The once small City has grown a great deal over the last 10 years, but still holds that small town charm. There are collectively more than 10 subdivisions in the City of Manor in which comprise a population of over 5,500. Each subdivision is unique and has different attributes to offer. Wildhorse Creek was started in 2003 by Lennar Homes, and Capitol Pacific Homes. The subdivision is a modest size with a little over 450 homes situated within close proximity to down town Manor. The school district for this area is Manor ISD, which is within a short distance from the community. They have recently added several stores, businesses, and gas stations to accommodate the developing City. Briarcreek is one of the larger subdivisions encompasses a whopping 890 homes. D.R Horton it is within minutes to Blake Manor Elementary. Briarcreek is also one of the closet subdivisions to East Metropolitan Park, which offers various amenities. The East Metropolitan Park has two swimming pools, a splash & play kiddie pool, as well as a lap pool. The park also has basketball courts, a fishing pond, walking/jogging trail, several baseball fields, practice fields; age appropriate plays capes, and much more. Shadowglen Subdivision went under construction in 2004, and are still kicking homes out. This little piece of heaven is running neck and neck with Briarcreek community, comprising of more than 880 homes. That number does not include the homes that are still being added. Shadowglen Subdivision is one of Manor's more up-scale neighborhoods. The Shadowglen golf course offers serious golfer's a chance to really step of their game. Not that the golf course isn't enough, Shadowglen also has one of the nicest water parks in the Austin area. They feature a four acre water park with a huge slide, a junior Olympic swimming pool, and a splash pool for the smaller ones. Greenbury Subdivision is one of the smaller communities in the Manor area housing on only 307 homes. To go with the petite little neighborhood, is a quaint little park in the front of the community. It has a few picnic tables, a plays cape, and a walking trail. Presidential Meadows Elementary school is within afew minutes, as well as a new Texaco Station. Stonewater Subdivision is still building right now, but currently have a little over 220 homes. The community amenities are a junior Olympic swimming pool, a splash park, basketball court, and a playground. Mainstreet Homes has been the primary builder for the community, and have several homes still under construction. Presidential Meadows is another master planned community, offering over 444 home sites. There are several small playground areas and parks, and walking trails. The community also houses it's very own Presidential Elementary School. If you are a city person that desires a little more for your money, Manor real estate may be just for you if Austin real estate does offer what you are looking for.
